Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Stem Splitter ("the app", "we"), operated by IE Denis Zhesterev. By downloading or using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
The app splits songs into separate instrument tracks (stems) using a third-party AI service, and lets you mix, practice and record with them. Separation quality depends on the source audio and is not guaranteed to be perfect.
2. Your content and copyright
- Only upload audio you own or have the right to use. You are responsible for how you use the stems, including any publication or distribution.
- You keep all rights to your audio. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit it solely to provide the separation you asked for.
- We may remove content and block access if we receive a valid notice that it infringes someone's rights. Write to the address below to report infringement.
3. Tokens
- Splitting a song costs tokens. The current price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Subscription tokens come with a subscription. At each renewal your subscription balance is topped up to the plan's allowance; unused subscription tokens do not add up across periods and are removed when the subscription ends.
- Purchased tokens are bought as one-time packs and do not expire.
- Subscription tokens are spent first, then purchased tokens.
- If a separation fails on our side, the tokens it cost are returned automatically.
- Tokens have no cash value, cannot be transferred to other people and can only be used in the app.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Purchases are made through your Apple ID and processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, the related tokens may be removed.
- Use "Restore purchases" in the app to get your subscription back on a new device.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to infringe copyright or other rights, to break the law, to overload or attack our servers, or to reverse-engineer or resell the service. We may suspend access for users who do.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features, and update prices for future purchases.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or content, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
8. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
